WELCOME TO HI-LEX MEXICANA!
Leading manufacturer of control cables and window lifters for the automotive industry.
Our History
Hi-Lex Corporation was founded in Japan in 1946. Over the years, it has established itself as a leading company in the research, technological development, and production of inputs for the automotive market. Globally, it is the leading manufacturer and seller of mechanical control cables and the second largest manufacturer of window lifts. Its products also include cables for the construction, aeronautical, maritime, and medical industries.
On October 1, 1993, HI-LEX Mexicana SA de CV (HLM) was established in the state of Querétaro. Its main activity is the manufacture of steel cables used in brake, clutch, tailgate, accelerator, seat control, automatic transmission, cruise control, hood, trunk, and fuel tank release systems, as well as the manufacture of window lifters, among other products. Continuing its expansion, the second plant, located in El Marques, began operations in 2013 to meet the needs of its customers.
Today, HI-LEX Mexicana employs more than 1,200 workers and produces approximately 30,000,000 cables annually. It has exceeded its original expectations and exports its products directly to the United States and Canada, and indirectly to Brazil, Argentina, and several European countries.
